Best wine trip I've ever been on. We had an excellent time. Mladen was an excellent host. It was a great treat to get to visit Mouton and Margaux. We also really loved Chateau Kirwan and the excellent lunch of Preserved Duck Parmentier. Our time with the winemaker in the vineyards at Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte was one of the highlights of the trip for me. I thought the guide Karin did a great job.

We did not really know what to expect. The food, the wine, the truffle hunting, the cooking class were all terrific. Not too much time spent on the bus. The private tour of the Vatican was so inspiring and wonderful. It would be very hard to replicate this trip as an individual. This is a trip anyone who has not been to Italy can enjoy as can people like us who have already visited Italy numerous times.
